How does a restaurant fit into a TEDxSSE Talk? Well, because we had the management team from Lidl there to present the new marketing campaign Dill, the secret pop-up restaurant that the supermarket chain ran in 2013.

Caroline Forsell, Communications Director at Lidl, talks about courage and the marketing campaign she presented at our restaurant. We served a nine-course menu, and all the ingredients came from Lidl. However, nobody knew that while they were eating, it was revealed at the end of the dinner and so was the concept of starting a temporary restaurant. We love being in the loop when things like this happen. In fact, more often than not, something unexpected and fun happens at the restaurant, whether it's a regular Friday or the restaurant is booked for a special event.
