Danderyds Nyheter eats out at home
Danderyds Nyheter got to experience eating out at home, and what it is like to have a restaurant at home for a few hours a week. Not always easy to describe this experience in text, but it obviously went ok when the local newspaper got to spend an evening in the kitchen.
The restaurant concept was successful
Success for David's restaurant at home in Danderyd. These are my own words that are not in the text, just want to mention that my family; wife Katarina and children Anton and Emma are a big part "if not all" of the fact that this could be implemented in our home. Without the family's approval, perseverance and laughter, the success would never have come. We open up our home a few hours a week, and every Friday we open our home between 18.30 and 22.00. Guests usually come by boat when our bridge to the island is not available. A number of times they have flown in by helicopter and landed on the meadow 200 meters from our house, we usually meet up so they come down safely. The taxi boat that awaits the guests at the end of the evening is the way to get home.
Question I was asked, what food do you cook? Food that I like myself and that is in season, the ones that are hardest to please is my own family. If they like the food, I am safe. Would love to see you at the kitchen table.
