The benefits of having a restaurant at home

Stockholmsmagasinet Lidingö visited davidathome and the readers of the magazine can follow the journey with the taxi boat out to Tranholmen and throughout the dinner with us. This was an evening with full speed and about 40 guests in the restaurant at home in our kitchen.

It's always fun to tell our story and our approach to food. But why does everyone have to take photos of us when we're at our most tired after an evening of serving? :) Jokes aside, we are super happy that we got to welcome Stockholmsmagasinet Lidingö to us.

Stockholmsmagasinet focused on why we do this and why we think it's worth spending so much time on what we do. The biggest reason is the kick that the people who visit us give us. Many encounters lead to other things, and this helps us to develop and have fun. Of course, there are times when we laugh, such as when the island's only four-wheeler breaks down and we have to drag a few hundred bottles of wine across the island. But most things work out in the end.

Funny that they mention how the toilet queue grows long if our son decides to take a shower. That may be the case, but he doesn't shower very often when we have 40 people in the house.
